"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawaked."~Anatole France

My name is Kelley, and I am the founder of PAWfect Pet Services, LLC.  I am a  Professional Pet Care & Behavior Specialist.  I graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2002.  Focusing my studies on people and animals, including; Animal Assisted Therapies, Animals Roles in Society and conducted an Independent Research Project on our local Animal Shelters.

After graduating I pursued a few jobs in social work and continued to volunteer for animal welfare causes and keeping my love for animals close to my heart.

In 2004 I founded a non-profit called Midwest Animal Welfare Society, focusing on humane education and animal rescue.  We partnered with the Pottawattamie County Animal Shelter for two years managing care plans for the animals in their care.  I coordinated their volunteer program, offsite adoptions and marketing events.  During this time I also became one of the founders of Iowans Against Breed Specific Legislation educating our community members and leaders on the negative affects of this legislation, while promoting dangerous dog laws.

I finally decided to pursue working with animals full time in 2007 founding PAWfect Pet Services. Today I am so lucky to have a full time career working with animals and another sitter that shares my passion.  I was the President of the Omaha Pet Sitters Association for 3 years and won the Dotty Shantz Scholarship from Pet Sitters International in 2009.  I continue to network with rescue groups, pet trainers, while volunteering at the Nebraska Humane Society walking dogs, and assisting with their training classes.  I am a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and I am working toward my National Training Certification through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.

Please be assured that your pets are in good hands and we do our very best to make sure your animals are happy, healthy and content. We treat all animals as we would treat our own, and operate under a philosophy of treating our clients as we would want to be treated.

Thank you for taking the time to read about us!

Sincerely,

Kelley McAtee

"Animals are such agreeable friends-they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms."  ~Author Unknown

Hi, my name is Hilary! I live in Papillion, NE with my husband Patrick, and our 2 four-legged children, Maya and Misty! Maya is an 11 year old (but I tell her she doesn't look a day over 5!) Lab mix & Misty is a 4 year old Pug/Mini Pinscher mix. I adopted Maya 10 years ago from an animal shelter in Austin, where I moved from in 2011 and my husband rescued Misty a few years ago when he lived in Kansas City during med school.

I have been pet sitting professional for over 11 years now and run my own business in Austin, TX. I absolutely love it! Prior to and for a short time during my time as a professional pet sitter, I gained work experience in veterinary clinics.

I have learned so much about animals over the last 11 years and continue to educate myself on animal-related topics to care for your pets in the best way possible! I am looking forward to spending time with your animals!

"The greatness of a nation and it's moral progress can be judged by the way it's animals are treated."  ~Mahatma Gahndi

Hi, My name is Victoria (Vicky for short) I am an Omaha Native and a retired police officer on the Omaha Police Force and have a special passion for animals which is noticeable the first time you meet me and my dogs.  I spent many years coming to rescue of people as well as many animals in need. I have seen the worst sides of human nature but also the best sides that animals tend to bring out of us.

I love spending my days walking my own dogs, spending time with family and friends. Hiking and taking trips when I am able.  I am so grateful to be able to work a job that I get to spend my days caring for your pets.  Thank you for entrusting me and you can be assured I will do my best to make sure your loved ones are healthy, happy and well exercised!

-Vicky
