They have done so many amazing things for the cause of animal welfare. Check them out at www.aspca.org   PIT BULL RESCUE CENTRAL is an excellent location to educate the public on the most misunderstood and most abused breeds of dogs in country. They are another one that stepped up during the landmark case of the Michael Vick fighting dogs. The first time in history where a court ruled to give fighting dogs another chance! NEBRASKA HUMANE SOCIETY is our local humane society, they have hundreds of adoptable animals there looking for homes and also offer dog training and humane camps for your children. Check out www.nehumanesociety.org   SUPPORT OUR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER (SOLAS) is a local animal welfare group, a small of volunteers that staffs the Council Bluffs Animal Shelter to help those animals in need. Please check out their site at solas.networku.net   JENNIFER MISFELDT(Spencer) is the one of the reason I am Pet Sitter today. After ending her Pet Sitting Career she helped get me started. Jennifer is a powerful leader in the local rescue community. She has done a lot to help our local animals and ispire those around her.
